Feb 13- Three Gifts Behind A Door
Today is Friday the Thirteenth. I am not superstitious, but when things don't seem to go your way it is great to blame the day.
I started the day behind the door of the auditorium at work getting my first aid/cpr certificate renewed. I am so thankful that I work for a company that they offer this training to all employees.
While I was in training, I received a message my work website was down, definitely blaming this one on the 13th. The company that hosts our site was able to fix the issue around 3pm.
Cade had therapy today. A source of stress came when we found out our out- of -pocket cost for each therapy session. I was outraged; it was not what we were originally told. I can tell you I did not let go and Let GOD handle the situation. GOD handled it anyway, an yet again showed me HIS power. Behind a door, the day before, the three therapist had put a home plan together for Cade and he was released from therapy. They are calling him a walking miracle.
This evening, behind the door to our home, we had everyone in the living room all together, no place to go, just time to be together as a family. I think we all fell asleep early from the busy week we all experienced. I am thankful for this time.
What is next for Cade?
Cade will start homebound school in two weeks (next week is winter break). He is not real thrilled about trying to read Mary Shelley's Frankenstein or trying to read anything. Books on tape are going to be used to help with this. We have to get an appointment with a Neurologist to continue care.
We are amazed how well Cade is doing. We know that GOD is in the miracle business. We know that your prayers are another reason there is a miracle standing in our home. Thank you for loving your neighbors.
Galatians 5:13-14 NLT
For you have been called to live in freedom, my brothers and sisters. But don’t use your freedom to satisfy your sinful nature. Instead, use your freedom to serve one another in love. For the whole law can be summed up in this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”
