March 20 - Three Gifts that Made Me Laugh
TGIF- A perfect gift for a Friday are three gifts that made me laugh.
My first gift of laughter comes from Cullen. Not anything in particular just some of the Cullenisms that he says. This evening we were at a Red Devils Soccer game and just watching Cullen grow up and interact with others makes me laugh.
Another gift of laughter came at work. We have a pedal power bike, you know the bike from Gilligan's Island that ran the washing machine. Well, we have one that lights up CFLs and make a blow dryer work if you pedal fast enough. We will be using it next week, so we sat it up to talk about what we would be teaching. Anytime my team gets together there is laughter. It might be poking fun and someone or just general laughter but it is great to have a team that can laugh together.
My third gift of laughter is comes from the soccer game also, sitting with friends scheming about prom invitations and goofy ways that our children can ask each other to prom.
These gift of laughter come from joy but the only true joy that we can have comes from Jesus Christ.
Jesus said, All that the Father has is mine; therefore I said that he will take what is mine and declare it to you. (John 16:15) . This was said at the time that Jesus was explaining that the Holy Spirit would come to guide us to the truth.
I pray that we all find the real joy and truth that comes from believing in Jesus Christ.
