Feb. 19 - Three Gifts that were Plan Bs
Today my three gifts are from Plan Bs. Since today we are living through a Plan B. I wanted to talk about three of the gifts that have been given to me through this detour in our life.
Thanks to the snow and wintry weather mix. I have been fortunate to have my brother at the house for almost the whole week. He came on Sunday with Mom and left at noon today to travel back to Nashville. It has been a blessing to have him around for a few days. We have not spent too much time together in our adult life since there are many miles between us.
I am thankful for the gift of spiritual growth that we are all receiving in this detour. This has made us a stronger family and showed us the circle of friends around us.
I am thankful for the hands of the skilled Neurosurgeon, Dr. Cumberbatch. That quickly stopped the bleeding in Cade's head and help set him on a road to recovery. GOD placed the right people at the right time in his life.
There is not much to say these days except Praise GOD for the Progress in Cade's Healing. He is getting stronger everyday. We have our ups and downs but, GOD is good. We are learning to move forward in the detour. We are learning to persevere. We wait on the Lord. We are enjoying the new scenery that comes with the detour, God does have a better picture than we can see at the moment. We pray that a year from now we will look back on this as a pivotal moment in not only Cade's life but our lives and that we will still be giving all glory to GOD.
