April 11 - Three Gifts Budding and Blooming

Today, Cullen and I visited the Spring Fling Plant Sale at Jackson Presbyterian Church. We saw very beautiful flowers growing.   The first gift that is blooming is the Spiderwort.  I had spiderwort at the old house.  Another name for Spiderwort is Moses in the Bulrushes.  The plant has varied medicinal uses as well.

The second gift is the Japanese Red Maple that is growing in my front yard.  The leaves a budding out and the red is starting to surface.


The third gift is the strawberries are blooming at the local strawberry farm.  A family trip will be planned soon to pick strawberries.
